Stelt u voor luister aan uw iPod zich 60 uren rechtstreeks zonder de behoefte aanvulling? De toekomst is nu dichter met Toshiba aankondigend het testen van hun (de Directe Cel van de Brandstof van de Methanol) prototype DMFC. Niet alleen zal het werk van brandstofcellen met iPods, kan het praktisch voor om het even welk elektronisch materiaal worden gemaakt dat op batterijen loopt.
Enkele duidelijke voordelen van brandstofcellen zijn:
- Vermindering van gewicht (de brandstofcellen zijn lichter dan traditionele batterijen)
- Langere elektronische gebruiksduur
- Verminderde afhankelijkheid van elektriciteit
- Vermindering van milieuschade
Men verwacht dat de brandstofcellen commercieel in 2007 zullen worden ter beschikking gesteld. Tot toen, hoop en bid dat de ingenieurs deze brandstofcel genoeg om in onze handen en zakken worden gehouden veilig hebben gemaakt.

Attached to the headset is a soft spring that is used to have a firm grip onto the auricle of the outer ear. The spring can be shortened by cutting in order to have a comfortable fit using a normal pair of scissors.
At the top of the device, the mini USB port (Mac compatible) is present to allow battery charging.
